I was supposedly making an advertisement for Children's Tylonol, but just used it as a guise for a children's book piece. Because this isn't an ad - no one would run this, haha. But over all, I'm pretty happy with the piece. Needs another hour or two of finessing though.

Off to crit!

Another Show Poster

I got asked to do two show posters within 15 minutes of each other. This is the one I ended up completing. Still playing with the type placement.

And then with the text edit.

The Book Cover I Pulled Out of my Ass

The recent trend of my creative behavior has been work really hard on something, trash it the day before the deadline and then just 'wing it' and come up with a much better piece. This a product of that. For the sake of my ego I won't post what atrocity I had created before this 'indie' thing, but believe me, it was something to burn.

Updated Computer Illustration Icons

Character Layout

This was a fun little assignment for my Computer Illustration class. Unfortunately Dangerfield's owner 'Cleatus' never made it to the page. Perez suggests I make a page so I can fit him in, they make a terrible team - Hurray opposites!

La Musica Baaaybee

Assignment: "Do something 'Up in the air'-y and make it good. It's for a chamber music thing for old people."
I got to do two versions of the same thing! Though frustrating to deal with the edits so close to the deadline, I do admit that the darker head is much cuter. Unfortunately the white soulless eyes speak to me on a symbolic level, haha.

Summer 2011 Flyers

As a way to keep myself busy during the summer days (when I'm not at work in the admissions office) I make flyers for the local music venues/bands. It's pretty amusing most due to the fact I can just do WHATEVER as long as it looks neat-o.
Fun stuff righ' thur.

Sophomore Year Painting Things

Sophomore Year Illustration Things

Illustration Media Things

The title makes this post very self explanatory, no need to comment... yet I do anyways.

I'm apparently missing my watercolours of food (They were pretty bad anyways) and my scratch board piece. The scratch board one should make an appearance once I talk to the owner/model of it, and I forgot to scan the acrylic portion of my acrylic/pastel assignment.

Have you ever had so much stuff to update...

That you just decide to make a new blog? Is that weird?
I decided this was my best action since I had almost a whole year's worth of stuff to upload. I'll also post the one thing I liked from freshman year at the bottom of this post so it will still be chronologically correct,
...stuff like that bugs me.
